still room is a small, solar powered graphic design studio with a big heart in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles which specializes in book and print design for artists, architects, and cultural institutions.

Before establishing still room, principal Jessica Fleischmann was Art Director of Western Interiors and Design magazine, and design associate at Lorraine Wild Design (now Green Dragon Office).

She received an MFA in Graphic Design from CalArts in 2001, after 2 liberal arts degrees, working in non-profit arts management, and as a chef and an art instructor. She teaches typography and graphic design at Otis College of Art and Design.

Her work has been recognized with awards and citations from the AIGA, the Art Directors Club, and the Maggie Awards; been included in several design annuals; and been exhibited by the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), the Art Directors Club (ADC), CalArts, the Smithsonian/Cooper Hewitt Design Museum, and the A+D Museum.
